Angel imagery is all around us. The fashion industry uses feathers and other angel elements constantly in their collections, musicians write about the presence of angels in their lives, media features “angelic” elements often. We even refer to dear friends and family as angels when they’ve done us favors or served us in a particularly significant way. I might be speaking for myself, but “you’re an angel” is one of the most used forms of praise when someone has acted kindly towards another person. For whatever reason, I’ve been noticing so much angel imagery in my own life recently. Scrolling on Pinterest, everything is “angel coded”. But, why are angels so important to us and so prevalent in the zeitgeist? And since they are, what does it truly mean to have angel energy?
