No, I didn’t forget about Maddifestations!
I feel like I keep writing this same intro, where I apologize for being gone so long and then explain why I was absent. But, I’m not gonna do that this time. I’ll just say, first off, I’m in a new place which is crazy hello??? Second, my goal for this fall is to be more active on here because, since coming to college, I’ve realized that there are certain things we must do to keep ourselves sane. Writing, for me, is that. While it’s been mostly journal entries lately, I’m excited to get back to writing what I really am passionate about — my thoughts that no one requested! I can’t promise any kind of schedule or any specific work, but know that I’m looking forward to moving away from writing “perfectly” and moreso just writing passionately. My newest piece, “Continuing: The Art Of Growing Through It (And What John Mayer Has To Say About It)” is definitely not perfect, but it is 100% what I’ve been passionate about lately. I hope you like it!

Society often uses the title “princess” as a dig at girls who find themselves to be “dramatic” or “high maintenance”. If that is true, why do little girls everywhere treat their favorite tv and movie princesses as role models? As a former little girl myself, I learned a lot about life and love from princesses.
